Story Board

My group members were Concep and Sharon. Our web site is slide.com which features different elements to use in creating a slide show. Our group selected an old timer story titled, "Charlotte's Web." The sketching on paper was a great way to organize our thoughts in terms of sequencing. Thanks to Sharon for accessing the pigs at her family farm for photo shots. Because we can't communicate with the pigs Sharon was able to take shots from different angles so that we could have a variety of selections to choose from. As for the Charlotte the spider warning the pig we used cotton balls to spell out "some pig" for the photo shot scene. This was perfect since cotton balls are used to portray web like effects. Overall, groups one and two web sites were also user friendly.

Web Quest

The web quest was fun setting up our project. The hardest part was narrowing down our web links for the students to view and gather information. My group partner Concep and I worked wonderfully together collaborating on our project during the time frame allotted to the class. As a future teacher in training, web quest will be an addition to my teaching tech tools for my students to experience a different learning style environment online. With my partners permission, the web quest project on sea turtles will be a lesson for my future students. The exceptional aspect about this project is the learning outcomes the students will gain and be aware of the Endangered Amazing Sea Turtles - E.A.S.T. The EAST title fits in with the sea turtles that migrates to the east by traveling on the different water currents going eastward. Some sea turtles migrate from Hawaii and end up in Japans coastlines or far down to Australia depending on the time frame of the year. Like I mentioned before the web quest is an additional tool to integrate all subject areas into one and allow students to work independently or with a group. I rate this site a 10.
